Coupons, which are being issued by the National Telecommunications and Information Administration, can be obtained by calling (888) 388-2009 or going to www.dtv2009.gov.
The turn-around time for acquiring a coupon is several weeks.
The deadline for ordering a coupon is July 31.Coupons expire 90 days after they've been mailed.
If you had received a coupon but let it expire, you may order another one.Converter boxes plug in either the front or back of TV sets, depending on your TV model.
You will still need your antenna, which works with the TV converter box.
Some viewers may need to get more powerful antennas to receive the digital signals.Free in-home installation of the converter box is available in many areas.
